Committee Role: Treasurer
Year Appointed: 2020
Year Joined BHC: 1988
"I first joined Banbury HC in 1988 when I made the move south from Scotland, playing 1st team hockey under the captaincy of Tony Instone.
I then spent a couple of seasons with Oxford Hawks M1's, representing Oxfordshire at county level, before moving overseas in 1992. On my return to the Banbury area in 1996, I re-joined the club and have been a member ever since.
I have 45 international caps for Scotland Masters, having played in 4 World Cups and 5 European Championships, and I am still an active player for the M3's and M4's.
Over the years, I have taken on the roles of Club Chairman as well as fundraising and marketing. I am currently the club's treasurer with an ambition to make the club 'cashless' and financially more efficient. Presently, I am also the club's Covid officer."
