Dave's Bio: 

"I joined Banbury Hockey Club as a junior in 1992, playing for every team during my progression up to 1st XI and scoring a few goals along the way, passing 400 league goals in the 2020 season.
 

Played in and won 5 National Finals with Banbury and have been a part of three 1st XI promotions;

•  2004/05 HA Mixed Cup

•  2007/08 HA Trophy

•  2015/16 HA 2nd XI Trophy

•  2016/17 HA 2nd XI Trophy

I had one season at Beeston during my Uni days and a few seasons at Harborne in the mid-2000s. I played for England Mixed Hockey in 2000 and also represented Oxfordshire from Junior level up to Seniors.

More recently, I’ve picked up a whistle and started umpiring.
 

Fortunate enough to have played in an amazing era for Banbury hockey and made lifelong friends.

Responsibilities: have oversight of all men's teams, provide support to team captains, seek to provide consistency of experience across the club.”
