Welcome to our club

Welcome to Banbury Hockey for the 2016/17 season. After another year of growth, several promotions, a rapidly expanding junior section and an Olympic Gold Medal, there is much to celebrate! The club is in good spirits and we continue to be ambitious in order to achieve our overall aim of producing good people through providing everyone a great place to play hockey.

I’m excited to announce the launch of two new club initiatives. The first being the BHC app, which is available to download now. It will allow us to better communicate with our members and keep you up to date with the latest goings on at the club. The second is the “Year of the Volunteer”, which is an initiative seeking to engage more members in volunteering roles. We are a club founded on good will, and volunteering is crucial to our success. Anything you can give, whether it be time, sponsorship or something else, makes a difference. Please keep checking the website and social media feeds for information.

Our First Teams are now playing at an appropriate level to provide a stretch for most players, whilst our other sides can offer progression to up and coming junior players, and competitive recreation to the rest of our members.

Thank you to all of you for your ongoing support and best wishes for the season ahead.
