Welcome to our club

Dear all,

Welcome to the new season!

As we look forward to the next 9 months, there is a sense of excitement in and around the club. The senior sides have both faced the challenge of established players moving onto pastures new, but unlike in previous years, there is a band of fresh faced juniors ready to step into their shoes. In essence this year will be the litmus test for all of the hard work with the junior section over the last five years

I had hoped by the time of writing this that we would have finished the refurbishment of the pavilion, but please bear with us, whilst the project is completed. It would be great to see the place busy on weekends and we are trailing more morning games at Bloxham, in an attempt to get more teams socailising together in the club bar on a Saturday afternoon!

We have introduced a new tier of membership, the Casual Player, which is aimed at those members who have not been able to commit to a full season with us. Please have a look at the finer details on the website and if you are one of those former members who have drifted away, then please do give some thought to getting back involved via this more flexible option.

Our volunteer recognition programme is proving popular and again details of this are available on the website. We simply could not operate without the hours upon hours or faithful service from our members. I hope that this initiative will continue to make giving your time to BHC, a fun, fulfilling and valuable thing to be doing.
