James' Bio: 

"Some of my earliest memories are from the side of the pitch watching my dad play for BHC in the late 70s and early 80s. I was lucky enough to be part of Banbury’s original junior section founded by my father Michael Clement and Gordon Bull along with some other enthusiastic parents in the late 80s. This was a set up that produced long standing first team players such as Adrian Simons, Chud Foreman and Matt Bull. It also gave me a love for hockey and the foundations to play at county, divisional and international level as a junior and later to play for numerous BHC teams.

Over the years my membership of the club has given me so much, from formative development as a junior player to deep friendships as an adult. As Junior Chair, my role is to continue to build on the success of the junior section of the club, creating the environment to attract and develop our younger players to enjoy hockey on the pitch and the social benefits of the club off the pitch."
