The AGM will be help at NOA on Friday 25th May 2012.

We will have Rounders and BBQ from 6PM followed by the AGM.

All officers to be elected, nominations proposed and seconded by fully paid up club members only and to be received by the Chairman no later than one week prior to the AGM

Ladies Summer League Stratford – help required

The ladies are in need of someone to organise the team for the summer league starting Mon 14th May in Stratford.

Piranhas Promoted !!!

In their first season after winning the County U14 league last year – the Piranhas achieved promotion in the senior MBBO league.

They came second just one point behind Thame men’s 2s (who the Piranhas beat twice), with 33 points.

They had the best goal difference of +39 in the league with 55 goals scored.

Five of the lads made it into the county team again this year and two went forward for regional trials. A great debut season for a young talented Banbury squad.

End of season awards for the team were:

Membership Reminder

It has been noted that several players have not yet paid the annual subscription to be a member of Banbury Hockey Club.

If you have not paid, you can still pay via the website this week and be eligible for the Olympic Draw at the End of Season Dinner.

Remember – Its your Club too – if there is anything you do not like you can effect change as a paid up member at the AGM. Anyone who hasn’t paid is not eligible to vote!

Club Dinner 14th April including Olympic Draw

The Club Dinner will be held at Cherwell Edged Golf Club from 7.00

Each fully paid up member in attendance will be entered into a draw to win the opportunity to purchase a ticket to the Hockey Olympics with coach travel included.

There will also be a Raffle on the night with a variety of prizes.

Internal Vacancy – 1st Team Coach

We have vacancies to coach the Mens 1st team and Ladies 1st team for the 2012/2013 season.

Candidates must hold at least Level 2 coach award and be available each during the season to attend training sessions and be pitchside during matches.
